Drug Problem - Demo 2006 New Zealand

Wellington's Drug Problem with their 2006 Demo, this is some seriously ugly Power Violence fueled sludge thrash and all in a good fucking way too. Featuring members of Scab, Shortlived and Rogernomix, this three piece are one of the best bands in New Zealand. They fucking rule live too. Check them out.
01 - (Charlton Heston) A Man Of Image
02 - Cottage Cheese Facelift
03 - Mermaid In Manhole
04 - Sexually Transmitted Text Message
05 - The Towering Wall
06 - Holocausto Canibal

NK6 - NK6 ep 2004

Manic Japanese thrash courtesy of NK6. Borrowing heavily from all things Gauze. You know what to expect and I assure you you won't be disappointed. Blood Sucker release some fucking solid bands.

01 - In Japanese
02 - In Japanese
03 - No Back No
04 - Right To Know
05 - In Japanese

Blood Sucker Records.

Unwise - Get Lost ep 1999

Japan's Unwise let belt with three tracks of pretty polished thrash. Sounding like a more distorted, thrashier version of Cobra complete with gang vocals. Not a bad release and very much in the MCR Compant style of releases.

01 - But I'll Be Always Who I Am
02 - Get Lost / Sad Reality

MCR Company

Dabunka - Death Clown ep 1996 New Zealand

One of my old bands from the 90's and the only one I ever played in with my Brother (Bass Guitar). The guitarist Rory is from a slew of local bands such as Azazel, Sinfeeder, Enshrine, Asscharger and In Torment. Dabunka was pretty much just a fun Punk Rock band with pretty straight forward simple songs that were fun to play. We also put out a full lenght CD called "Force Fed The Backlash". The "Death Clown" ep was an acetate cut in Geraldine, New Zealand and subsequently the sound was shocking. These tracks on the blog were taking from the tape master and sound way better. As you may not know New Zealand does not have any facilities to press vinyl records so very few records from punk bands came out here after the late 80's when EMI dismantled their pressing plant in Wellington. Enough rambling and more Punk fucking Rock!!

01 - Lepers
02 - The Cut Off Points Sharp End
03 - None The Wiser
04 - Speak In The Key Of No
05 - Seed Of Thought Weed Of Action
06 - A In A Circle
07 - Death Clown

Tiger Junkies - Sick Of Tiger ep 2005

Four raw punk rock songs done by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) and Yasuyuki (Abigail, Barbatos, Cut Throat). You can sure spot the Metal influences in this. Not a bad release but I did feel it dragged a little on the longer songs. They have a full lenght out now also.

01 - Sick Of Tiger
02 - Tiger Junkies Nightmare
03 - The Final Slaughter
04 - Tiger Bitch
